There was one group of people who were undoubtedly shouting like newbies going down a slope while skiing.
Then there were those who were angry with the same amount of energy people used into getting into a Michael Jackson concert.
Finally there were those who were just plain sad. Just sad!
Then there was me who just wanted to rip someone’s hair out but let’s give the spotlight to those who deserve it.
But these three groups of people felt justified for whatever emotion they were feeling about the situation. But they forgot the important thing.
The feeling of the individual concerned.
Shanice was a young actress and a singer though people acknowledged her more for the former. She had taken up a number of roles and had proven herself again and again to be talented actress. But of course as humans, we are never satisfied.
The difference between a high school student and an ancient warrior can probably never be bridged. That’s how far she had stretched herself and to be honest, she nailed both parts with precision. And the sky is her limit.
Like any celebrity, a new role she had been offered to consider came up in the news. Now, from my experience, the best person who can tell if he or she can accomplish something is the person in question. Then, maybe those close alliances around them. But people took up the job of her manager and pointed out how much of a horrible cast she would be for part.
It is okay when you are offering constructive criticism to someone. At least you have the person’s best interest at heart. But don’t be someone putting cheese in the trap for the person. People must be challenged to improve, so when they try a challenge do not be that hater in the back.
Yes! Some people were actually predicting the end of her career if she were to take this role. Fast forward to the end of the story, Shanice rejected the role. Now these three groups of people make an appearance in this movie like situation.
No one has the right to predict anyone’s destiny just because you feel threatened. It hurts the person involved and makes you less human.
DON’T PUT THE CHEESE IN THE TRAP AND EXPECT SOMEONE TO FALL FOR IT!
Have you ever encountered someone who put cheese in a trap for you? I would love to hear all about it my dear readers. I appreciate all your visits to my blog.
Till I finish carefully picking out the cheese….bye Darlings!
