Dear High School Teacher
You might get enraged to point of punching your fist through a brick wall after reading this but it is the truth, and it will definitely set me free.
It should be a joy for you to have the opportunity to share your knowledge with people who are eager to know about anything. Not to mention the fact that you are being paid to do that.
Yet you act like you were kidnapped by some mafia group and forced at gun point to come and teach the students and it doesn’t help either party.
First things first, because we could not read the basic manual of life encyclopedia, we decided to sign up for education. It is therefore you job to answer questions of us students and not shut them down. You tell students to stop whining as though teenagers have no problems or don’t have the right to be informed.
When the person you spend half of your teenage years with, makes you feel unworthy by discouraging your dreams and not realizing the effort you put in daily, it kills you.Period! But then again the same thing might have been done to you.
However teaching is not an avenue to take out all your lifetime frustrations. Therefore you cannot the crush sincere ambitions of teenagers just because you may not have realized yours.Remember that some of us find school as an escape from problems at home and do not need you to remind us just how abandoned we feel.
Finally dear teacher,we may be rude, disrespectful, clueless and obsessed about fantasies. And I will not even try to excuse that.
But guide us,correct us with love and honestly listen to us if we are even irrelevant.
Till the next re-incarnation phase.
I Was Once A High Schooler.
